The difference between Scrybe and other platforms is that fans must Subscribe to your profile before they can listen, the .30 second preview is necessary because it gives them a sample before subscribing fully. We are working on having this built in to the website.
Timing Out Tip!
If the website goes unused for 1 minute, the page will time out. If you receive an error message, be sure to refresh the screen and redo what you were entering. We will extend this time out time in later modules, but this is so that your proprietary information doesn’t stay up on your screen.
Setting your price
We encourage artists to use micro-transactions. This will allow the fan to still pay less than other larger platforms, but will still keep the content creator generating more monthly revenue.
Single, Album, Entire Catalogue
1. Singles: .01 to .05 cents per month
2. Albums: .05 to .10 cents per month
3. Entire Catalogue: .10 to .15 cents per month
Fan’s Getting Started
Create a profile
Creating a profile is simple and easy and allows you access to both podcasts and music. You can also browse as a guest before signing up but with limited use.
Add To Your Wallet
Your wallet is connected to your Google or Apple Wallet and you can purchase a pack and have it uploaded to your account. There are small fees from both Apple and Google during the purchase process. This is not from Scrybe.
Find Your Artist
New artists are signing up daily, be sure to hit the search icon and find your favorite content creator and subscribe to their podcast or music. The subscription amounts are recurring, so each month you’ll see that removed from your account until you unsubscribe.
Unsubscribing
To unsubscribe click the music icon to the left of the Scrybe logo and click “Artists” there is a trash can next to each artist you are subscribed to. That will remove the artist from your subscription list. You can also do the same with clicking Albums or Songs.
